Interested? You can download the mixed-down m4a and/or the source GarageBand file and submit your comments on and suggestions for the song. Even better, I encourage you to rework, replay, remix, reword, sing, comp, fill, percuss -- to do whatever you can do -- and share the results with me and anyone else who's listening.
I can't do it all alone, and I won't stop doing what I can until The Day. The current version has live guitar and vocals and some software instruments in it. I'll keep rehearsing and re-performing tracks, testing fills and harmonies, and posting revisions.
Man, it could really use some percussion to replace that shaker.

Great Idea, Very cool! I'm a sucker for collborative projects...unfortunately I'm not a musician (really-- I promise you dont want my help with this!). But, I do know several so I've forwarded this along. Good luck w/ it & I cant wait to hear how it turns out!

Cool idea. I like the song. You should probably change the id4 tags on the m4a to preserve your anonymity, unless the name on there is already a decoy. I've been making some music with garageband, including a song my friend and I played for two friends at their wedding. I'd love to help- feel free to drop me a line at ianandraphey@gmail.com. If you want to check out the things I've worked on (some are pretty silly), they're all at www.mufflepult.com/mp3
The wedding song is "Union Street."

Thanks for the feedback! I'm preparing some new vocals and converting to mp3 without my info in the tags ;)
Does anyone have any tips on mixing down? It's hard to keep the volume consistent, I'm finding.
